Fishman Flooring Solutions is made up of amazing people who strive to improve the communities in which they live and work by partnering with and giving back to area charities and non-profit organizations. Many of our employees volunteer with or have active leadership roles in a number of organizations vital to our local communities.
We are extremely proud of those committed to making our communities better and company stronger; our Fishman Family!
The Fishman Family is rolling up our sleeves to serve local communities all across our footprint. From cleaning, organizing and serving food, to building projects, fundraising events and more - Fishman Cares!
Our caring associates volunteered at the Weinberg Housing and Resource Center where they helped serve dinner to about 130 homeless adults. With the help of volunteers, this emergency shelter offers services to 275 adults every night in Baltimore, MD.
We love to support the communities in which we live and serve! Our team participated in Spring Beautification Day where they cleaned, organized, and more to help provide a better place for students to learn and make new friends!
Our Augusta Branch Manager, Donna Lively, has gone above and beyond in supporting our employees and customers by making and distributing homemade masks. The masks are reversible, have an internal pocket to hold additional filters for extra safety, and are available in different patterns! We are indebted to her noble #FishmanCares efforts. Thank you, Donna!
The Fishman Family is made of up of amazing, caring and generous individuals who continue to do their part to support organizations they're passionate about. We hear stories all the time of fundraising, disaster relief, and continued giving. We are proud of our employees for the impact they make in their communities.
After beating breast cancer, our ADF Consultant, Rowan Brosam, decided to do something special for all of those who helped her through the battle. With the help of customers, vendors, friends and family, Rowan organized an industry event called 'Imagine Life Without Cancer.' All of the proceeds raised that night were donated to an organization who helped Rowan through her time of need, Our Clubhouse.
In a fundraising event, the 'Family Fun Run,' one of our employees put a team together to participate in the event with the goal of raising $1,000. Through some networking and fun social media give-aways, their team, 'Price is Right,' raised $2,158 for LifeChoices. Beyond raising money, they also walked the event in their team costumes and won the best team costume contest!
Often the easiest way to help is within the arena you're most familiar with. We all have opportunities to make a positive impact within our communities, whether it be the generous gift of monetary contributions, material donations, time, mentoring, consulting, or other ways to meet the need.
